Business for Nature joins the Race to Zero
Business for Nature has officially joined Race to Zero as one of its more than 30 Accelerators to raise awareness of the campaign while building the capacity of non-state actors to deliver ambitious net zero action.
“It is significant to have Business for Nature joining the Race to Zero as an Accelerator. With specialised knowledge and expertise, Business for Nature will support members of the Race to Zero to not only halve emissions by 2030, but also ensure more nature in the world by 2030, and continued recovery. There is no Paris Agreement without nature.”
As an Accelerator, Business for Nature will continue to drive credible business action and policy ambition on nature, including through the ‘It’s Now for Nature’ campaign to encourage companies to develop and publish ambitious nature strategies and take action to contribute towards a nature-positive future.

Led by the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions, the Race to Zero is a global campaign rallying non-state actors – including companies, cities, regions, financial, educational, and healthcare institutions – to take rigorous and immediate action to contribute to halving global emissions by 2030 and deliver a healthier, fairer zero carbon world. Since June 2020, over 14,000 members have joined the campaign and are committed to the same overarching goal: reducing emissions across all scopes swiftly and fairly in line with the Paris Agreement.
